Youth called to YWAM

We recently received a letter from a young woman who attends Harvest.  Her name is Patience Johnson and has been a member of the church and an active part of the youth group for many years.  The letter reads:

"Dear Harvest Family,

As many of you may already know, I feel the Lord calling me to Ensenada Mexico for a DTS, (Discipleship Training School) through Yout With a Mission (YWAM).  YWAM is an international, interdenominational Christian mission organization whose purpose includes training, challenging and channeling Christians to fulfill Christ's command "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."

The DTS I will be participating in is a 5-month school and missino opportunity.  The first 3 months will be located in Ensenada Mexico.  This time will consist of intense training, work duties and local ministry opportunities.  The last 2 monts will be the outreach phase of DTS.  During outreach I will put into practice what I have learned during the training phase.  The outreach will be located somewhere in Central of South America.

With the trip coming up fast, I ask for your prayers as I prepare for this life changing opportunity.  I have a lot to do in the next month, DTS starts on September 22nd.  The cost of DTS is approximately $3,000.  I am trusting God fully in provision.  I know he will provide whatever is needed throughout my journey.  If God lays it on your heart to support me in any way, prayer, encouragement or in giving I greatly appreciate it!  I thank God for this wonderful family He has surrounded me with.  You all have been a huge blessing in my life.  Thank You!!

God Bless you all!

~Patience~"
