Sermon Title

Jesus uses the Old Testament to Illustrate Salvation

Sunday, February 7th

Pastor Larry Siekawitch

Scripture Verse

  John 3:11-16 (ESV)

11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

MOPS Ministry Opportunity!

MOPS is a ministry to Mothers of Preschoolers at Harvest Fellowship.  They are in need of some volunteers for childcare during their meetings.  They meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 8:45-11:30.  If they are able to get more volunteers they will be able to enroll more women.

Cleaning Opportunity!

The church is cleaned by volunteers.  This is a valuable service to our church family, and we have some openings to serve.  The week available are:  Feb. 15-20, March 8-13, March 15-20, March 22-27.  You would need to come in once during the week and clean the sanctuary, lobby and bathrooms.  This takes around 4 hours, or less if you sign up with your life group or another family.  Please call or email the church if you are able to help.

Spotlight Listeners Club

Spotlight is a vehicle for reaching your non-English speaking community. This is the lowest pressure ministry that you can be involved in. All you have to do is talk. You don't have to be able to teach grammar; that's not what the Club is about. It's about practicing the English that the students have learned elsewhere. Click: Tips for Volunteers

Greeters

Harvest is about "Real People, Real God, Real Relationships, and Real Change" and a big part of this is the people who create a welcoming atmosphere to both returning members of our congregation and guests!  If you would like to be a part of making Harvest feel like home, contact the church office.  529-8838.

Prayer Opportunities

At Harvest we believe prayer is essential. Prayer is offered after each service! If you have a heart for people and prayer this ministry is for you. Contact Julie Spore at 259-5982 to join the team.
