Harvest Fellowship, a Cell Church
What is a Cell church?
In a cell church, the cell group is the most basic unit of the church body.
Every activity and task, either directly or indirectly, exists to support the cell groups.
What is a Cell Group?
A cell group is a group of 4 to 15 people who meet regularly for the purpose of
encouraging each other to live a life that pleases God and to share the good news
about Jesus Christ with others. Furthermore, the group is committed to participating
in the larger church worship time.

Agenda of a Cell Group
Every cell group has one primary agenda - to provide a safe place
where lives can be transformed by the living God.
A real God working through real relationships
with real people to accomplish real change.
Dimensions of a Cell Group
A cell group has four dimensions:
1. UP - calling attention to the greatness of God
2. IN - a safe place to share life, the good and the bad, where each
person is needed and wanted and disagreement does not
mean rejection
3. ON - helping each other live a life that pleases God (as defined by
God's Word, the Bible)
4. OUT - sharing with others the good news of Jesus Christ
What About the Sunday Morning Worship?
Gathering together on Sunday (or any day) to worship in a large group is
important. Here we see the majesty of God - Jesus as our king. It also
helps us see that we are part of a bigger community of believers. But the
worship service by itself is incomplete. Being in a cell group is just as
important!! Here we see the closeness of God - Jesus as our brother. The
goal of the cell group is to help us experience Jesus up close and personal.
One Final Note
Harvest Fellowship is a work in progress. We believe that God has called
us to be a cell church. However, we are still developing. Please be patient
while, together, we discover all that God envisions for us ... to the praise
of His glory!
